How much does it cost to charter a yacht?

Rate includes up to 12 people Monday to Thursday $600/hour (minimum 4 hours)

Friday to Sunday $750/hour (minimum 4 hours)
8 hour days are discounted

Can I bring my own food and drinks onboard?

Yes! Food and alcohol is permitted onboard, we have a bbq, stove top, 2 refrigerators and a freezer. No red wine or any staining beverages allowed.

What's included in the charter?

Certified Captain
All costs to run the boat including fuel, captain fees and docking
We provide bottled water, ice, plastic cups, plates and cutlery.
Full kitchen, bathroom, air conditioning and a bedroom to store all your belongings.

What's not included in my charter?

Food, alcohol, soft beverages and towels please bring your own.

Can I wear shoes onboard?

We do not allow shoes onboard, there is multiple storage compartments throughout the boat to store them.

Can I smoke/vape onboard?

Vaping is permitted at any time or any location. Smoking is only permitted on the swim platform when the boat is anchored and the engines are shut off. 

Can I smoke weed onboard?

Smoking weed is allowed on the swim platform when the boat is anchored and engines are shut off. No bongs and no illegal drugs.

What are the items that I shouldn’t bring?

No hookah, bongs, Shisha, or any item that uses open flame, gas, or charcoal. No red wine or any staining beverages.

What if there is hazardous weather at the time of my departure?

If the captain is unable to carry out the charter due to severe thunderstorms or heavy rain, we will reschedule you at our earliest convenience.

What if I want to cancel my booking?

If you cancel your booking your $500 deposit is non refundable.

What if I want to reschedule my booking?

You can reschedule your booking up to 3 days prior to departure?

What if I get sea sick?

There are over the counter medications that help with sea sickness you can bring onboard, it is uncommon on large yachts as it doesn’t move around as much as a smaller boat. We can always take you back to shore if the medication doesn’t work or the sickness progresses.

Can I go for a swim?

Yes you may, when the boat is anchored and engines are off. There is a transom shower near the swim platform to wash off after swimming.

Can I decorate the yacht?

Yes, we provide a 30 min grace period before departure for 2 people to decorate. Nothing that will ruin the upholstery or paint, no sparkles or confetti on the yacht and must taken with you after booking.

Is there bluetooth and wifi?

We have both, you can link your music up to the brand new JL audio sound system and wifi.

Gratuity to the captain and how much is appropriate?

Similar to other service based industries, gratuity is a reflection on how the service was and if you enjoyed your experience with Diamond Yacht Tours. The general standard is between 10-20%

When should we get there to board the yacht?

We recommend arriving 15 min before departure to board all guests, stow away belongings and sign waiver/safety instructions. Kindly note late arrivals will be taking time away from your paid charter slot.

Is it okay to bring children and infants onboard?

Absolutely, we have life jackets for all ages/sizes.

Are your yachts commercially insured?

Yes we’re commercially insured with full coverage.

What forms of payment method do you accept?

Our primary method of payment is E-transfers, cash and all major credit cards.
